pontis is Latin for bridge. pontiswerk bridges the agents you already use — Claude Code, Claude on the web, Cursor, your own scripts — onto one shared workspace. They read and write the same files, you decide what is public and what stays protected, and everything is plain files you can take with you. It's the artifact you can actually share, and it's yours.
One workspace, every agent
A workspace isn't tied to a single tool or vendor. Any MCP-capable agent can connect with its own per-client credential, and humans reach the exact same files over FTPS. Different agents can pick up where another left off — one drafts, another reviews, a third publishes — all against the same files.

Public or protected — you draw the line
Privacy is the default. Nothing is on the web until you map a slug to a folder, and only that folder becomes reachable. Everything else stays private to your workspace.

Slugs are managed by you from the dashboard, not by the agents — so an agent can fill a folder, but it can't decide to publish your workspace. The publish/protect line is always yours to draw.
Like artifacts, but they're yours
Artifacts trapped inside one assistant are convenient until you want to move them, share them on your own URL, or let another tool touch them. A pontiswerk workspace holds ordinary files — HTML, images, data — in a normal directory tree.
